Tintypes are a black and white photograph taken on a piece of metal.  We use the Wet Plate Collodion process for our tintypes which is the same chemical process used during the 1850s.  As this process sees a different spectrum of light than modern photographs, you get a very different look. Whether wearing modern clothes or wardrobe from the past, you photograph will transport you back in time.
