The Tavern at the Festival
February 24 - February 25
Welcome to The Tavern at the Riverside Dickens Festival!
When you walk in the door you’ll be greeted by Bad Baby Babs, the Mistress of the Tavern. She’ll grab you a pint from Packinghouse Brewery, show you to a seat and put on an extravaganza you won’t soon forget!
By chance you may run into distinguished authors of the Victorian age, quick handed gamblers, flirty Tavern girls, and sailors fresh in from the sea, sitting right alongside noblemen and the less fortunate alike. All are welcome in Babs’ Tavern as long their coins are left on her side of the bar!
Mistress Babs hosts continuous live performances ranging from Les Folies Rouge Can Can girls, and live music to Sea Shanty Sing Alongs from 11am-5pm each day of the Festival!
The Tavern is a 21 and over venue. ID will be checked at the door. Alcoholic Beverages may not leave the Tavern.
